About

Oakroom Artists is an invitational membership association of professional artists based in New
York State’s Capital Region. Our members represent a rich diversity of artistic expression,
working in mediums such as painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, fiber arts,
and mixed media.
As a group, we are committed to fostering creative excellence and community engagement. Our
artists regularly exhibit their work throughout the Northeast, with many also showing nationally.
In addition to individual exhibitions, we present several group shows at various venues
throughout the Capitol district.
Many of our members are also educators—teaching private and group lessons, university
courses, and workshops in a variety of disciplines.
